國民黨總統大選要「以朱換柱」，黨內更傳出希望促成「朱洪配」，讓洪秀柱有台階下。親民黨總統參選人宋楚瑜昨天批評，國民黨以洪秀柱的兩岸政策偏離黨的主張為由換人，卻要洪當副手，根本是精神錯亂。
宋楚瑜認為，國民黨批洪的兩岸政策「偏離黨的主張、主流民意」是多大的罪名，還說洪繼續選將不利黨籍立委選情，但若最後黨主席朱立倫真的搭配洪秀柱參選，找個違反主流民意的人搭檔，難道要反輔選？作法讓人「精神錯亂」，怎麼說服民眾？
他表示，若國民黨要精神分裂認為推動朱洪配是主流民意，那請他們趕快配在一起，宋楚瑜就可以當選、當選、當選。
>他也重申，未來選前絕不會與任何國民黨高層私下會面，要見面就公開見面，包含其他政黨。宋還揶揄國民黨說，國民黨確定誰來接棒嗎？現在說推朱洪配十天就能換人，那距離登記還有一個多月，所以說可以換三次？
